Crossbridge is an independent publisher of non-fiction books. From the outset, with our 2003 critically acclaimed Finding Chinese Food in Los Angeles, we aim to become today’s cutting edge voice on East Asian cultures. In addition to our Chinese Food Finder series, we are releasing this fall two new titles on Japanese food: the Search for Sushi: A Gastronomic Guide, and Simple Delicacies: Japanese Recipes From Hirozen. The name “Crossbridge” comes from our vision: to cross national boundaries and bridge cultural barriers in our quest to uncover the mysteries of the East. With a solid knowledge base on East Asian cultures, and a young, dynamic writing staff, we pledge to produce works that are practical and insightful, informative as well as entertaining. The company is located in Manhattan Beach, California, a colorful
beach town lapped by sun, surf, and sand three miles south of Los Angeles
